After Zomato announced its 10-minute delivery service called ‘Instant’, there has been a flood of memes and jokes.
While many social media users criticized the service, others expressed concern over the delivery partners as to how the food could be prepared in such a short time.
However, while announcing the service, Zomato founder Deepinder Goyal clarified that the company does not put any pressure on the delivery partners to deliver food faster nor does it penalize delivery partners for late deliveries. Despite the clarification, the move of 10-minute instant delivery was brutally trolled on social media and many criticized the service using memes.
Responding to criticism on social media, Goyal clarified that 10-minute delivery will result in less time spent on the road per order.
