Not Scooty… This is Honda’s Scoopy, ready for launch with powerful features and a dashing look!

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) plans to strengthen its hold in the affordable vehicle segment of the country. Honda is about to bring several new and affordable two-wheelers to India for which a patent has been filed. One of these all-new scooters is the Honda Scoopy.

New Delhi: Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has already promised a slew of new affordable two-wheelers to expand its reach to more and more customers. Recently Honda’s two-wheelers have filed some patents for the Indian market, which makes it clear that these are the names of upcoming vehicles and the list looks quite long. The company has also filed a patent for a new scooter in India called the Scoopy, which was also patented in March last year. The patent filing does not confirm that this product will be launched. Although now perhaps the company will launch it in India, which was seen during testing in 2017.

The Honda Scoopy is a modern classic scooter with a retro styling that is sure to be loved by both young and old customers. In India, it is going to compete with scooters like Hero Pleasure Plus, Maestro Edge, and TVs Jupiter. Apart from these, Honda Dio and Activa are also in their competition. This scooter can be offered with features like 15.4-litre under-seat storage, USB charging port, semi-digital instrument cluster, keyless ignition, projector LED headlight, multi-functional hook, and side stand indicator.

Value for money in safety and engines!
The new Honda Scoopy has been given a smart key which is equipped with an answer-back feature and an anti-theft alarm. It gets telescopic and mono-shock suspension at the front and rear along with the ESAF frame. Accompanied by 12-inch alloy wheels, the scooter could come with a disc brake at the front and a drum brake at the rear. The Scoopy could be powered by a 109.51 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled, SOHC engine that is available with the Activa and Dio in India. The engine generates 7.76 PS of power and 9 Nm of peak torque. The company can make the new scooter according to India with the best mileage.
