Most of the Indigo employees suddenly went on leave, revealed – went to give interview in Air India

Most of IndiGo’s employees suddenly went on sick leave, due to which about 55 percent of the airline’s flights were delayed. According to civil aviation data, over 900 IndiGo flights were delayed as on 02nd July. IndiGo, the country’s largest airline, operates around 1600 flights daily.

Air India, once a state-run airline, was infamous for its latency and poor service. Now it is back in the hands of Tata Group after a gap of almost 70 years and since then the service of the company has been continuously improving. The impact of the company’s changing image was clearly visible in the airline industry last week. More than half of IndiGo flights were delayed on Saturday due to job competition at Air India.

Suddenly the employee went on sick leave

In fact, most of IndiGo’s employees suddenly went on leave, leading to delays in about 55 percent of the airline’s flights. According to civil aviation data, over 900 IndiGo flights were delayed as of 02nd July. IndiGo, the country’s largest airline, operates around 1600 flights daily. Airline sector sources told Aaj Tak-affiliated website Business Today that the reason for this sudden disruption is the ongoing recruitment in Air India. Air India is conducting interviews for various posts at various centers. Most of the employees of IndiGo had gone on leave to give interviews to Air India.

Indigo OTP at the bottom

Director-General of Civil Aviation Arun Kumar told Business Today that clarification has been sought from IndiGo in this regard. “We are probing the matter,” he said. When we have more information, we will be able to confirm anything. When queries were sent to IndiGo in this regard, they did not get any response.

Talking about the on-time performance (OTP) of various airlines on Saturday, it is 98.3 percent in AirAsia India, 88 percent in GoFirst, and 86.3 percent in Vistara. percent, SpiceJet 80.4 percent, and Air India 77.1 percent. Indigo was at the bottom, with a one-time performance of 45.2 percent.
