LPG Cylinder Price Hike: Huge setback, LPG price hiked; Now domestic gas cylinder will be available for this much rupees

Price Increase for LPG Cylinders: Oil firms have significantly raised the cost of LPG cylinders. Domestic gas cylinders now cost Rs. 50 more per unit as of July 6’s morning. With this, the price of gas cylinders in Delhi has gone up to Rs 1053. Apart from this, the price of domestic gas cylinders in the country has gone up to Rs 1079. Rs 1052.50 in Kolkata, Mumbai, and Rs 1068.50 in Chennai. The domestic gas cylinder of LPG was earlier extended on May 19. After that, the way petrol and diesel prices are stable and the price of commercial cylinders were cut, it seemed that domestic gas cylinders would also be cheaper.

Even before this, on July 1, a major cut of Rs 198 was made by the oil companies in the price of the commercial cylinder (LPG Commercial Cylinder Price). Commercial cylinder cheaper by Rs 8.50
The price of a commercial gas cylinder in Delhi was lowered to Rs 2021 as of July 1. Now after further reduction in price on 6th July, it has become Rs 2012.50. In a similar vein, a 19 kg commercial gas cylinder will cost Rs 2,132 in Kolkata. It has reached Rs 1972.50 in Mumbai and Rs 2177.50 in Chennai. Earlier, the price of the domestic gas cylinders was last changed on May 19.

Subsidy of Rs 200 per cylinder
Recently, to give relief to the public from inflation, the government announced a subsidy of Rs 200 per cylinder under the Ujjwala scheme. In a similar vein, a 19 kg commercial gas cylinder will Only 12 cylinders will be eligible for this subsidy each year. This government action has benefited more than 9 crore consumers.
