Pay to Contact: Airtel Payments launches new facility, now transfer money through mobile number

Airtel Payments : The country is rapidly moving towards digitization. In such a situation, where the most change has been seen, then it is the banking sector. Now people do most of the payments either by card or by mobile. Due to this, money transfer is also quick and there is no need to go to the bank. To send money to your family or friends from mobile, you must have their UPI ID.

But, there are some UPI apps in the market under which money can be sent even without account details. In this episode, now Airtel Payments Bank has started a Pay-to-Contact service for UPI payments.

New feature of airtel payments bank 

Under this service of Airtel Payments Bank, now customers can send money to any number from the contact list present on the mobile phone. The company says that this does not require entering UPI ID or bank account details to process the payment and saves time. Also, it has become easy to transfer money now.

Send money like this with Pay to Contact

To send money from Airtel Payments Bank, first of all, customers need to go to the BHIM UPI section and click on Pay Money – To Contacts. Then after this, by selecting the receiver’s contact, you will be able to send money easily. It is worth noting that before this, many UPI apps of the country are providing the facility of this payment method.

Unified Payments Interface (UPI) is a real-time payment system that allows instant transfer of money to a bank account through a mobile app. Through UPI, you can link one bank account to multiple UPI apps. And its biggest feature is that customers can manage multiple bank accounts through one UPI app.
