Work is going on in full swing at Ola Electric’s Future Factory. It does not have any physical store yet, yet in one day the company sold scooters worth Rs 600 crore online.
Ola Electric has reacted to its decision to put its S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters for purchase through the online window. Ola CEO Bhavish Aggarwal announced on Twitter that Ola Electric sold e-scooters worth Rs 600 crore in a single day on Wednesday, through an online window.
Agarwal on Wednesday night announced that the company is selling four units of its e-scooter every second since the online window opened. Agarwal further said that all the units can be sold soon. On Thursday, while posting a blog, Agarwal told how there was so much sales in one day.

Ola Electric was successful in creating a rage in the market with its first product and people are liking it due to its range, features, performance and other features. The price of Ola S1 is Rs 1 lakh, while the top model S1 Pro costs Rs 1.30 lakh. These are ex-showroom prises. Depending on the subsidy available in different states, their prices may increase or decrease. The Ola S1 has a range of around 120 kms while the S1 Pro has a range of around 180 kms. There are other differences between these two trims as well like the S1 Pro gets more color options. Apart from this, it comes with a high speed of 115 kmph and also has a big battery pack.

Sale is happening online only
Ola Electric is working on a direct-to-home sales model and does not have any physical store as of now. Test drives and unit deliveries are scheduled to start from October. Ola Electric has also given the option of loan and EMI to its customers. According to the statement of the company, the booking amount and further advance payment is refundable till then. Until the scooter is delivered.
1000 women will get employment
Work is also going on fast in Ola Electric Factory. It can be called Future Factory. Ola is about to create history in the world for electric e-scooters. 10000 women will get employment in Ola factory, making it the largest factory run by women. The Ola Future factory is running at full capacity and is expected to launch 20 lakh units every year. From here the unit will be started for the domestic market as well as the foreign markets.
