The recently announced XUV700 from Mahindra is proving to be a blockbuster for the brand, not just in terms of sales, but also in terms of safety. Encap recently conducted a crash test on the new SUV, and the XUV700 received a perfect 5-star rating for safety. Mahindra Group Chairman Anand Mahindra complimented the car’s designers and engineers on the vehicle’s safety rating, which places it among India’s safest vehicles.
On Twitter, Anand Mahindra stated, “And now I admire the designers and engineers who created this one-of-a-kind vehicle. A vehicle that provides the highest level of passenger safety. Thank you for your lofty ambitions.” In the NCAP findings released on Wednesday, the Mahindra XUV700 received 5 stars for adult safety and 4 stars for kid safety. The Mahindra XUV700 was crash tested with two airbags, ABS brakes, and Isofix child seat mount versions by Encap.

According to Encap, the XUV700’s safety can be further strengthened by adding more widely available optional equipment. Side body airbags, side head curtain airbags, electronic stability control, and three-point seat belts are among these components. The Mahindra XUV700 received a score of 16.03 out of 17 for adult safety and 41.66 out of 49 for child safety. Let us tell you that the car’s bodyshell was determined to be stable in a crash test conducted by NCAP at 64 km/h.
