Mahindra is going to launch a new variant of the recently launched XUV700 SUV in the market and a lot of information has surfaced on the internet even before the launch.
Mahindra has recently launched the all-new XUV700 in India which is selling indiscriminately as soon as it is launched and the company has kept its initial ex-showroom price at Rs 11.99 lakh. Currently, this model is being sold in 4 variants – MX, AX3, AX5, and AX7. The AX7 also comes with a luxury pack and now the leaked document has revealed that the company is going to bring the AX7 variant of the XUV700 with the S or better known as the smart pack.
Some features will not be available in the new variant
The new variant will be positioned below the AX7 L and will not come with some features such as ADAS, ESP, driver knee airbag, drive modes, electric parking brake, wireless charger, passive keyless entry with electric door handle, telescopic steering, and driver degradation detection. The exterior of the new variant includes parts like 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, smart door handles, LED headlamps, LED taillights, sequential turn indicators, and panoramic.

Mahindra XUV700 AX7 S with Cruise Control
In terms of cabin, Mahindra XUV700 AX7 S with cruise control, dual-zone automatic climate control, push-button start, 6-way adjustable driver’s seat, valley mode, electric ORVMs, dual 10.25-inch screen, 12-speaker Sony audio system Android Auto with Adrenox connectivity, 360-degree camera, blind view monitoring, Auto Booster headlamps, and Apple CarPlay.
The AX7 S variant costs around Rs 80,000 less!
Mahindra is likely to offer the AX7 S variant of the new XUV700 with a 2.0-liter Amstallion turbo-petrol engine and a 2.2-liter mHawk diesel engine. Both these engines are going to come with 6-speed manual and automatic transmission options. It is believed that Mahindra will reduce the price of the new AX7 S variant by about Rs 80,000 compared to its new AX7 L.
