Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojna: To verify their status in the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme, the 12 crore farmers participating in the program must now follow different procedures than before.

Why Has It Changed?

On the official website of the PM Kisan Nidhi Scheme, farmers could get information about their application status by using their mobile numbers.

Also, farmers were also able to view their bank account information under the PM Kisan Nidhi Scheme. Regardless, changes have been made to it, and now farmers can access only their Aadhaar numbers and bank accounts to find out what their crop status is.

Several major changes have been made by the government to the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, which has now impacted more than 12 crores registered farmers. After registering, farmers could check their status through their mobile numbers.

As a result, farmers will not be able to view their status via mobile numbers. Instead, they will need to provide some other information, along with their Aadhaar number, and only then will they be able to get any important information about the scheme.

Changes Made: Why they Have Been Made

Since the government has changed the rules, farmers can now enter their mobile or account numbers on the PM Kisan website to check their installment status, but it also enables others to check the status of their installment by entering their mobile numbers.

Additionally, the government had also received reports of misuse of this easy method, for which it now only allows Aadhaar numbers to be entered.

The tenth installment is already in accounts

Now if the farmers like to know the facts of the money deposited in their account then they will have to follow this process 

To check, visit the pmkisan.gov.in website

  • Click ‘Kisan Corner’ on the right side of the website
  • Now click on the ‘Beneficiary Status’ from the options
  • To view the status, you need to enter some details like Aadhaar number, bank account, and mobile number
  • After this process is completed, you can check your name is on the list or not.
