Biometric authentication is required

For security reasons, the facility of updating mobile numbers online is not provided. For this, you need biometric authentication. Aadhaar Help Center itself has said, “Biometric authentication is required to update mobile number. This cannot be done online or through the post. For details of your nearest Aadhaar center visit this link – HTTPS:// /appointments.uidai.gov.in/EACenter.aspx.”

50 rupees fee

If you want to update your mobile number in your Aadhar card then you have to pay a fee of Rs.50. Aadhaar Help Center, in response to a user’s query, has said that Aadhaar is updated through a prescribed process. This takes from five to 90 days after the request.
