UAN Number: If you have forgotten your UAN number then you can recover it in a few easy steps.
New Delhi: If you are a salaried employee then you must know about the UAN number (Universal Account Number). UAN number is the Universal Account Number allotted to government and private employees, through which you can log in to your provident fund account running with EPFO (Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation). EPFO itself allots 12 digits UAN. If you change jobs, the uan number remains the same, then what happens when you forget your UAN number? Step 1: To find your UAN, visit the UAN portal website
Step 2: Now enter your PF registered mobile number (or) any other mobile number which is not linked with other PF accounts yet.
Step 3: After verifying the OTP a new page will open. Here enter your name, and date of birth and select your Aadhar or PAN, or PF member ID.
Note: If your PF account is not linked with your Aadhar and PAN then select the Member ID option.
Step 4: Now enter your Aadhaar or PAN or PF member ID, type the captcha and click on Show my UAN.
Step 5: You can see your UAN on the screen.
Other ways to recover UAN
Give a missed call to 011-22901406 from your PF registered mobile number, within 1-2 minutes you will get your PF details via a text message on your mobile number.
Contact your HR or Accounts department, they will have PF data of employees. They can give you your UAN number.
