Lord Krishna: Unity Essential For Achieving Goals

In the Mahabharata, the Pandavas were forced to live in exile for twelve years and in secret for a year after losing at gambling. The Pandavas and the Kauravas had established a rule that the Pandavas would be returned to their country once their exile and incognito were over.

Following their exile and covert existence, the Pandavas arrived in Duryodhan, who declined to grant them their kingdom. Duryodhan was not prepared to cede even five villages to the Pandavas, despite much convincing. The Pandavas had no choice but to wage war in order to retake their country in such a scenario.

The Pandavas first evaluated their circumstances and available resources before considering going to war. Bhishma, Dronacharya, and Karna were among the famous warriors of the Kauravas. They had a huge army. Only five Pandavas stood before the vast army and formidable warriors of the Kauravas.

Even Arjun pondered surrendering as the Pandavas weighed the opposing sides, but Lord Krishna gave him advice at the moment.

Shri Krishna told the Pandavas that we should not give up if we must wage a war for what is right. Such a battle will be waged to defend the truth, not to commit acts of violence. Even though there are more Kauravas, they are not all the same. Karna dislikes Bhishma, Drona dislikes Duryodhana, and Duryodhana constantly makes fun of Drona and Bhishma. Even though there are five of you, you are all the same. You all share a unity that the Kauravas do not share. One thing should always be remembered: the people who are together and do not have differences triumph. The greatest asset in any organization, whether it be a family or a company, is unity.

Lord Krishna’s teachings:

The greatest strength is unity: Whether a team at business or a family, no goal can be accomplished unless everyone works together.

Standing out for what is right is crucial: remaining silent won’t solve an unjust treatment situation. Explain things calmly at first, but if necessary, stand up for justice and don’t give up.

Be mindful of your weaknesses: The Kauravas were defeated due to internal conflicts rather than external foes. In life as well, we frequently lose due to our negative beliefs rather than outside factors. As a result, one should be mindful of their shortcomings.

The most crucial factor is teamwork: talent or resources by themselves are insufficient. Even the impossibly difficult can be accomplished with teamwork and trust.
