Urvashi Rautela was one of many Indian actors who made their Cannes Film Festival debut in 2022. The actress attended a screening of the zombie comedy Final Cut on Tuesday evening. Urvashi was photographed during the screening wearing an exquisite white gown with layers.
The actress chose to keep her appearance basic in order to draw attention to her Tony Ward one-shoulder gown. Her hair was pulled back into a tidy bun, and she accessorised with bold jewellery. She wore a bright red lipstick that went well with her ensemble.
Urvashi was not the only one who made her Cannes 2022 debut. This year’s festival also saw Tamannaah Bhatia make a striking debut. On the red carpet, the actress wowed in a dramatic black and white gown by Gauri & Nainika. Shaleena Nathani, who also styled Deepika Padukone’s Sabyasachi saree outfit at Cannes 2022, styled Tamannaah. Many people, including Malaika Arora, adored the style.
Pooja Hegde will also be making her Cannes Film Festival debut this year. The team lead by Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting Anurag Thakur includes Tamannah and Pooja. Nayanthara, R Madhavan, AR Rahman, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui also appear in the delegation.
Deepika Padukone is surely one of the main features for India at Cannes 2022. The actress is one of nine members of the Palme d’Or jury, which will select the winners during a gala ceremony in Cannes on May 28. Other jury members include Rebecca Hall, Noomi Rapace, and Italian actor-director Jasmine Trinca, as well as directors Asghar Farhadi, Ladj Ly, Jeff Nichols, and Joachim Trier.
