Traffic Challan Fine List: The government of India is making continuous efforts to reduce the incidents of road accidents. Strict action is also being taken in cases of violation of traffic rules applicable in the country. In March this year, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari informed that in the year 2021, 1.98 crore challans worth Rs 1,898.73 crore have been issued in cases of traffic violations across the country. That is why today we are going to give you information about the fines for violation of some traffic rules.

What is the penalty for violating which rule?
Driving without a seat belt attracts a fine of Rs 1000.
Driving without a driving license attracts a fine of Rs 5000.
Overspeeding attracts a fine of up to Rs 2000.
Driving under the influence of alcohol attracts a fine of Rs 10,000 and a jail term of 6 months.
For the second time, a fine of Rs 15,000 has been imposed for driving under the influence of alcohol.
Driving without insurance can be punishable with a fine of Rs 5000 and a jail term of up to three months.
A parent can be fined Rs 25,000 for driving a minor.
Driving a bike without a helmet attracts a fine of Rs 1000.
Driving without RC attracts a fine of up to Rs 10,000.
