Money Order: According to a WHO research, India received the most money orders from abroad.

India is the best at accepting money orders: The era of digital banking is now. In a matter of seconds, money can be moved from one location to another. However, the practice of sending money via money order is still prevalent in India at this moment. According to a World Health Organization (WHO) report that was just released, India ranked first in this category in 2021 by receiving $ 87 billion in money orders from outside.

India is the country with the most money order takers.

One out of every eight people in the world—or almost one billion people—are migrants, according to the WHO’s first report on refugees and migrants. According to the report, India, China, Mexico, the Philippines, and Egypt are the top five nations that receive money orders from abroad that are denominated in dollars.

China and Mexico are in front of India.

With a net worth of $87 billion in 2021, India is ranked first among low- and middle-income nations, the survey claims. The Philippines received $36 billion, Egypt $33 billion, China and Mexico $53 billion, and so on.
