Big decision on diesel cars, BS4 diesel vehicles may be banned in Delhi from October 1

Ban on BS4 diesel cars: There is big news for those who drive diesel in Delhi NCR. If you have a BS4 diesel car, then you will not be able to drive it in Delhi-NCR from October 1. In fact, this decision can be taken if the air pollution in the national capital exceeds 450 AQI. To overcome this, the new policy prepared by the Air Quality Management Commission (CAQM) will be implemented before the festive season.

Under the policy, diesel BS4 cars will be banned in the city to bring the air pollution under control if the air pollution exceeds 450 AQI. In addition, you won’t be permitted to operate BS-3 petrol vehicles. However, this restriction will not apply to vehicles utilized for critical services.

Due to air pollution, “state governments in Delhi-NCR may ban BS3 petrol and BS4 diesel light motor vehicles (four wheelers) under Stage 1 regulations,” according to the Ministry of Environment and Forests. 3 in Delhi-NCR.” Stage 3 is called when the AQI is between 401 and 450.
