Banks and private businesses launch new promotions as soon as the holiday season arrives. Additionally, HDFC Bank has introduced a “Festive Treats Offer” for its clients. The bank provides various discounts on credit cards, retail purchases, and financial services.
Government employees can receive a discount of up to 75% on home loan processing costs from HDFC. Customers who take out a home loan for 50 lacs or more will be eligible for this promotion.
Who will profit from this?
Only government workers with credit scores of at least 800 will be eligible for this deal. The loan’s interest rate will be determined using HDFC’s benchmark rate as a base. According to the bank, the interest rate will alter as the loan term is extended.
Offer valid through October 31.
The holiday treat offer is only good till October 31st, 2022. Government personnel have till this date to visit the bank and finish the process. In addition to house loans, HDFC is now discounting processing costs for business loans by up to 50%. Along with many other loans, the bank has lowered the interest rates for a two-wheeler, auto, gold, and health loans.
There were around 10,000 offers last year as well.

HDFC received over 10,000 bids for various loans last year, including personal loans, express vehicle loans, house loans, business loans, loans for two-wheelers, loans against credit cards, loans for gold, and loans for used cars.
