EPFO: Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has sent out a warning to all users. No account holder should ever, even accidentally, publish information about their account on social media, according to a request from EPFO made to all of its members. According to EPFO, the organization never requests Aadhaar, PAN, UAN, or bank information from its members. Be careful and don’t divulge any information if someone requests it over the phone or on social media. Don’t answer these phone calls or reply to any phone texts.

The EPFO has tweeted a warning to all of its users, saying, “Never ask your members to share personal information like Aadhaar, PAN, UAN, bank account, or OTP through phone or social media.” According to EPFO, no service will ever require payment via social media, WhatsApp, or any other platform.

These people are required to file a police report against any phishing call or message in which your personal information is requested.
