German luxury car maker Audi is going to launch two new electric cars in the market. The company is all set to officially discontinue the e-Tron and launch the new Q8 e-Tron and Q8 Sportback e-Tron this week. Sharing a teaser image of the two electric cars, Audi announced that both will make their global debut on Wednesday, November 9.

Model updates for the Q8 e-Tron and Q8 Sportback have been on Audi’s agenda for a long time. Electric SUVs have been in the market since 2018. Although Audi has not officially revealed the names of the models in its teaser. Audi previously confirmed that the Q8 e-tron will be the successor to the German carmaker’s EV brand nameplate when the new generation model debuts in 2026.

Audi shared the teaser on its social media saying that the Q8 e-tron will be unveiled soon. Although the design of these new Audi vehicles won’t change significantly, there could be numerous mechanical upgrades. A bigger 95 kWh battery can be found in the Q8 e-tron 50.
How will the design be?
Both of the new electric vehicles will have similar designs to the future models. Both vehicles will have a single-frame grille, modest improvements to the bumper’s appearance, and new lighting technology for the headlamps. The back may also receive a minor design revision.
Know how much will be the range?
Conversely, on a technical level, the updates are expected to be much higher. The new Q8 e-tron and Q8 Sportback e-electric Tron’s system will reportedly receive a significant update to compete with rivals like the BMW IX or the Mercedes EQE SUV, according to reports. A 110 kWh lithium-ion battery pack will be installed in the vehicle, providing a range of more than 600 kilometers on a single charge. Charging capacity can also increase significantly.
