Check out the first review of the 2022 Nissan Juke Hybrid, expected to launch in India too

2022 Nissan Juke Hybrid: Nissan recently showcased several new products for the Indian market at an event. Earlier we discussed X-Trail and today we will talk about Juke. The Juke is a popular SUV for its design and sportiness, especially in the European markets. There is no confirmation yet regarding the launch of this SUV in India. But a strong hybrid version of this SUV has been claimed.

Nissan Juke look

We love the styling, as it is a compact SUV and gets a muscular look with an almost coupe-like design, while the floating roof styling concept looks great. The sharp-cut grille with rounded headlamps is quite attractive and the sloping roof and large alloys give it a sporty look.

Along with the sporty look, the interiors of the new generation Juke are also quite luxurious and extremely premium. This is definitely a new design in terms of cabin layout whereas the new SUV is now bigger with bigger shoes and more room but still has four seats.

Powertrain

Juke Hybrid can be considered good for India considering the increasing interest in hybrid technology in the Indian market. The Hybrid Juke is powered by a Renault/Nissan system with a 1.6-liter engine producing 94hp power and an electric motor producing 36kW (49hp) and 205Nm of torque, while Renault’s 15kW high voltage starter/generator plus inverter and 1.2kWh of power. With this system, you can drive up to 80 percent even in EV mode, which increases mileage by up to 40%.

Features

It gets soft touch material, sporty seats with Alcantara and an 8-inch touchscreen, remote commands via app, eight-speaker Bose audio system with a speaker in the headrest, and many more.

May be launched in India

The Juke, if it comes to India, will be imported and will, therefore, be similar to the hybrid Grand Vitara, which will cost more but attract more customers in terms of design and interiors. The Juke will be positioned as a stylish offering and it may be a good idea for Nissan to bring it to the Indian market, though the price will definitely be higher since it is an import.
