Kisan Credit Card Update: The Central Government is constantly making efforts to increase the income of farmers and for their advanced development. At present, many such schemes are being run by the government, due to which the farmers are getting tremendous benefits. PM Kisan Samman Nidhi is one of the ambitious schemes of the government. More than 10 crore eligible farmers are getting the benefit of this scheme. Under this, farmers are given three installments of one lakh rupees. 2-2 thousand each i.e. Rs. 6 thousand annually. Meanwhile, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has said a big thing for the economic benefit of the farmers.
Finance Minister gave a great suggestion
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has appealed to public sector banks to provide easy loans to Kisan Credit Card (KCC) holders to increase the income of villagers. The Finance Minister recently had a long discussion on this subject with the Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of Public Sector Banks. During this, he suggested to the regional banks to upgrade the bank’s technology to help the villagers.

After this meeting, Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, and Dairy Minister Purushottam Rupala gave detailed information about the meeting. He told that during this time the Finance Minister reviewed the Kisan Credit Card Scheme (KCC Scheme). He thought about it and also suggested how institutional credit can be made available to the farmers. After this, Minister of State for Finance Bhagwat K Karad, who attended the meeting, said, ‘The meeting was presided over by the Finance Minister and the issue of KCC to people involved in fishing and dairy sector was discussed.
The important role of Regional Rural Banks in agriculture credit was emphasized in the meeting. Apart from this, in another session, it was decided on Regional Rural Banks to help in sponsor bank digitization and technology improvement.
