December Month Bank Holidays 2022: If you have any important work related to the bank and you are planning to visit the bank branch next month then you must know about the bank holidays in December 2022. As per the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), holiday list for December 2022, banking operations will remain closed for a few days, however, online banking activities will continue to function.

According to the holiday calendar list of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), banks will remain closed for a total of 14 days in December. However, you should note that not all states or territories will have bank closures for 14 days. Banks will also remain open in some areas. For example, bank branches may be closed for Pa-Togan Nengminja Sangma in Shillong, but banks in Goa, Bihar, or other states will remain open.

1. Feast of St. Francis Xavier: 3 December
2. Pa-Togan Nengminja Sangma: 12 December
3. Goa Liberation Day: 19 December
4. Christmas Festival: 24 December
5. Christmas Celebration: 26 December
6. Birthday of Guru Gobind Singh Ji: 29 December
7. Yu Kiang Nangba: 30 December
8. New Year’s Eve: December 31

Banks will not open on second and fourth Saturdays and every Sunday in the month of December.

1. Second Saturday: December 10
2. Sunday: December 4
3. Sunday: December 11
4. Sunday: 18 December
5. Fourth Saturday: 24 December
6. Sunday: 25 December
