Top 10 Bikes: In October 2022, the sales of bikes in the 150-200cc segment were very good. The top 10 motorcycles in this segment witnessed a growth of 40.52 percent (Y-o-Y) in October 2022. In October 2021, 1,27,415 bikes were sold in the 150-200 cc segment while in October 2022, 1,79,043 bikes were sold. Sold out. The Bajaj Pulsar series continues to rank first in the list of best-selling motorcycles in the 150-200 cc segment. It sold a total of 49,389 units in October 2022 while 31,902 units were sold in October 2021. That is, there has been a jump of 54.81 percent in its sales.
TVS Apache range at number two has sold 40,988 units in October 2022 with an annual growth of 2.99 percent as compared to 39,799 units sold in the same period last year. Honda Unicorn 150 sales grew by 351.97 percent on a year-on-year basis to reach 31,986 units in October 2022, as against 7,077 units sold in October 2021. With this, it stood at number three. It was followed by Yamaha FZ at the fourth position. It sold 13,404 units in October 2021, compared to which sales increased by 52.49 percent to 20,440 units in October 2022.
Yamaha’s R15 stood at number five with sales of 10,541 units in October 2022 and 10,246 units in October 2021. It has a YoY growth of 2.88 percent in sales. It was followed by Yamaha MT15 at number six, with a sales growth of 33.59 percent (year-on-year) to reach 8,037 units in October 2022 as against 6,016 units sold in October 2021.
Hero Xtreme 160R (5,164 units), KTM 200 (4,002 units), Xpulse 200 (2,972 units), and Bajaj Avenger (1,649 units) are number seven, eighth, ninth, and tenth respectively. The sales of Bajaj Avenger series have increased by 41125 percent on an annual basis.
