The PM Kisan Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana (Pradhanmantri Garib Kalyan Yojana) provides 5 kg of wheat free of charge each month to 80 crore individuals in the nation. Yellow ration cards to 29 lakh BPL families

The Haryana government is going to gift yellow ration cards to 29 lakh BPL (below the poverty line) families of the state on New Year. 29 lakh families will be in trouble due to getting new yellow ration cards. All beneficiaries will receive yellow cards via the internet. Manohar Lal Khattar, the chief minister of Haryana, would disperse them with a single click. Apart from this, the government has increased the minimum annual income for BPL card from Rs 1.20 lakh to Rs 1.80 lakh.

Earlier there were 11.5 lakh BPL

families. Due to the increase in the annual income limit by the government, the number of beneficiary families has increased to 28.93 lakh. Till now the number of BPL families in the state was 11.50 lakh. The Chief Minister had once again issued an order to conduct a survey of families coming under BPL. Accordingly, a fresh list has been published. Let us inform you that the government has separated eligible families into the “Antyodaya Anna Yojana Parivar” and primary family categories as part of the public distribution system.

Under PMGKAY, in the last month of ration distribution,

Antyodaya families are given 35 kg and BPL, OPH families are given 5 kg of food grains at the rate of Rs 2 per kg. Apart from this, the central government had announced to continue the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana (PMGKAY) till December, which was started in September during the Corona epidemic. Accordingly, this is the last month of ration distribution under the central government. Under this scheme, 5 kg of wheat is given free of cost to each beneficiary.
