Mahindra XUV400 Price: Tata Nexon TV is rocking the electric car market. It is the best-selling electric car in the country, but the coming times are going to be tough for it as a new SUV is about to be launched in the market to compete with the Tata Nexon EV. Till now there was no electric SUV available in the market to compete directly with the Tata Nexon EV. The electric SUVs that could compete with it were left behind due to the high cost. But, Mahindra has made up its mind to launch its electric SUV in front of it.
Mahindra is about to launch its XUV400 in January. The company has already introduced this vehicle and has also given information about the features, but the company has not yet announced the prices, which will be in January. As per some media reports, the model lineup will have three variants – Base, EP, and EL, which are expected to be priced around Rs 17 lakh to Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom).
Mahindra claims that the XUV400 can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 8.3 seconds. Its top speed is 150 kmph. The EV gets a 39.5kWh battery pack, which is capable of delivering a range of 456km on a single charge, which is more than the Tata Nexon EV’s maximum range (437km). It’s electric motor can generate 148bhp power and 310Nm torque.
The carmaker will offer three charging options with its new electric SUV. It will have the option of a 3.3kW/16A home charger, 7.2kW/32A, and a DC fast charger. Its battery pack can be fully charged in 13 hours with a standard home charger and 50 minutes with a DC fast charger. The battery pack takes 6 hours 30 minutes to fully charge using a 7.2kW charger.
