Schools up to class 8 closed till January 14 in Noida, Ghaziabad due to cold

Noida/Ghaziabad: Schools of classes 1-8 in Gautam Buddha Nagar and Ghaziabad will remain closed till January 14 due to severe cold waves and foggy conditions.

As per the order, the state government directed the closure of all basic and secondary schools, madrassa education boards, Sanskrit schools, and council schools as well as schools affiliated to ICSE, CBSE, and UP Board.

While the order is in force in GB Nagar and Ghaziabad from Wednesday, the timings of senior classes from 9th to 12th in all boards of the state have also been changed from 8.50 am to 10 am and from 2.50 pm to 2 pm. 14 January.
