Maruti Grand Vitara CNG Price and Mileage: Maruti Suzuki has launched the CNG version of its most expensive and premium SUV Grand Vitara. Suzuki Grand Vitara CNG price starts at Rs 12.85 Lakh and goes up to Rs 14.84 Lakh. It is offered in only two variants – Delta (MT) and Zeta (MT). Both these variants are powered by the next-generation K-series 1.5-liter, dual jet, dual VVT engine. CNG kit is offered in this engine unit.
On CNG, it can deliver 64.6kW@5500rpm peak power output. In CNG mode, it can generate maximum torque of 121.5 Nm at 4200rpm. The Suzuki Grand Vitara CNG is only offered with a 5-speed manual gearbox while the K-Series 1.5-litre petrol engine also comes mated to a 6-speed AMT (in the regular petrol variant). Maruti Suzuki claims that the Grand Vitara CNG can deliver a mileage of up to 26.6 km/kg.
Its CNG variant (Jeta) will get 6 airbags. It is also the only premium CNG SUV in the country to come in a 6-airbag variant. It will get next-gen technology like SmartPlay Pro+ infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto, and in-built next-gen Suzuki Connect. It will have 40+ connected features.
Regarding the Grand Vitara CNG launch, Shashank Srivastava, Senior Executive Officer (Marketing & Sales), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. said, “Grand Vitara has received a great response from Indian consumers since its launch in September 2022. Further enhancing the appeal of the Grand Vitara.”
“The Grand Vitara S-CNG will contribute to our aggressive plan to expand our green-powertrain offerings,” Srivastava said. Maruti now has 14 CNG models.
