But now Liger Mobility, an EV company from Mumbai has made it a reality. From the platform of Auto Expo 2023, this company has introduced two Liger X and Liger X+ electric scooters equipped with self-balancing technology.

Liger Mobility has introduced the world’s first auto-balancing scooter. The company has introduced two electric two-wheelers Liger X and Liger X+ from the stage of Auto Expo 2023. The biggest feature of these scooters is their auto-balancing. In simple words, you will not need to keep your foot on the ground when you hit the brakes while driving the scooter or when stopping at a crowded place. These scooters will stand upright without any support. These scooters do not even require a stand.

Both the Liger X2 and X2+ electric scooters can be driven at a speed of 65 kmph. While the Liger X has a range of 60 km on a single full charge, the Liger X+ can travel up to 100 km on a single charge. The base model uses a removable battery that can be taken out of the scooter and charged.
The Liger X’s battery takes about 3 hours to fully charge, while the Liger X+ scooter gets fully charged in about 4.5 hours. The liquid cool battery has been used in these e-scooters which is approved by BMS i.e. Robust Battery Management System. Keeping safety in mind, they have also been equipped with thermal run away protection.
Talking about auto-balancing, this electric scooter can lift a weight of 150 kg for which it does not need any support. The company has equipped them with reverse mode and this selfie balancing will also work in reverse mode. If you look at other features, an LCD display has been given in Liger X and Liger X+ supports a TFT screen. Features like navigation, Bluetooth, phone connectivity, and LED lights are available in these electric scooters.
Liger X and X+ Price and Sales
Liger Mobility has launched its base model Liger X in the price range of Rs 90,000. At the same time, the company has not disclosed the price of Liger X+. These electric scooters can be purchased in Grey, Polar White, Blue, Titanium, and Red colors. Bookings for these electric scooters will commence in the first half of this year and will be available for delivery later.
