However, Yamaha has launched a new bike that looks to be an upgraded version of the RX100 to a large extent. The name of this bike is Yamaha GT150 Fazer, which comes with a classic retro look. The bike has been brought with a 150cc engine.
Let us tell you that the bike has currently been launched in the Chinese market. Its price is 13,390 yuan, which according to India is 1.60 lakh rupees. It is available in White, Dark Grey, Light Grey, and Blue color options. To give the bike a sporty look, the fenders, alloy wheels, exhaust, and suspension have been kept black.
To give the bike a classic look, the headlamps, rearview mirrors, and turn signals have been given a round shape. Other features include LED lights, 12V DC charging socket, a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, leather seats, tracker styled side panels. It has a fully digital instrument panel, which shows a lot of information. The seat height of the bike is 800mm. The bike gets a long seat on which two people can sit comfortably. The bike is mainly meant for city commuting, through which light off-roading can also be done.
Yamaha GT150 Fazer engine The
The Yamaha GT150 Fazer bike is powered by a 149cc engine. It generates maximum power of 12.3 hp at 7,500 rpm and a peak torque of 12.4 Nm. It is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The bike rides on 18-inch wheels at both ends. Braking is done by disc brakes at both ends. It weighs 126 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 12.5 litres.
