1 lakh 75 thousand crore rupees given for fertilizer 

To double the income of the farmers, the government has been coming up with schemes from time to time. Under this, now the government has allocated 1 lakh 75 thousand crore rupees for fertilizers for the farmers. Due to this, in the financial year 2023-24, the farmers will be able to get fertilizers like urea and NPK easily. The government had allocated Rs 1 lakh 5 thousand crores for fertilizers last year, but later the prices of fertilizers increased in the global market. Due to this the government almost doubled its budget in the interest of the farmers.

Farmers get Rs 2700 for buying fertilizers    

The government gives a huge subsidy to the farmers on urea. Yes, the government gives 2700 rupees to buy a sack of 45 kg. Because of this, farmers can get this fertilizer for only Rs.266.

According to the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, industries require about 13-14 lakh tonnes of technical-grade urea. Out of this, only 1.5 lakh tonnes of urea is made in the country. Apart from this, it has to be bought from abroad, that is, about 10 lakh tonnes of urea should come from abroad, but this is not happening, because urea should be available to the farmers. He goes to the fertilizer companies. Because of this, the government wants to send subsidy directly to the accounts of the farmers.
