Citroën eC3 showcased at Hyderabad e-motor show: French carmaker Citroën is preparing to launch its first electric car in the Indian market. The all-new Citroen eC3 EV recently made its India debut and has now been publicly showcased at the Hyderabad e-motor show. The company is already taking bookings for this. Although its prices have not been announced yet, the prices of the car are likely to be revealed this month.
Citroën India has showcased the upcoming eC3 electric car at the ongoing e-motor show in Hyderabad. This first-of-its-kind EV Expo is being organized in Hyderabad from February 8-10, 2023. It has been organized as part of the ongoing Hyderabad e-mobility week in the state. The bookings for the Citroen eC3 are taking place with a token amount of Rs 25,000.
The Citroen eC3 EV gets a 29.2 kWh LFP battery pack. It is claimed that it can give a range of 320 kilometers on a single charge. This electric car will come with a single front axle-mounted electric motor, which generates 56 bhp power and 143 Nm peak torque. The top speed of the EC3 EV is 107 kmph. It gets two driving modes – Eco and Standard along with a re-gen braking system.
Citroën India may reveal the prices of the eC3 this month. The Citroen eC3 is an electric crossover based on the ICE version of the C3 hatchback, which is currently priced between Rs 5.98 lakh to Rs 8.25 lakh, ex-showroom. Let us tell you that eC3 will compete with Tata Tiago EV and Tigor EV in the market.
