Mahindra electric SUV: Indigenous vehicle manufacturer Mahindra is now focusing on electric cars. The company recently launched its first electric SUV, the XUV400. Now the company has introduced two new electric SUVs Mahindra XUV.E9 and BE.05 in India. The Mahindra XUV.e9 and BE.05 were earlier showcased in the UK, where the company showcased five upcoming cars in one go. The look of both these cars is quite futuristic and attractive. Both the Mahindra XUV.e9 and BE.05 are still in concept version. Through these, the company wants to show how their cars are going to look in the future.
Features of Mahindra XUV.e9
The XUV.e9 doesn’t look like any of the current models in appearance. It has been given a coupe-like design. The XUV.e9 measures 4,790mm in length, 1,905mm in width, and 1,690mm in height. While the wheelbase of the SUV will be 2,775mm. It will be a 5-seater model. It gets LED lighting, bumper-mounted headlamps, and a close-off front grille. There is also gloss-black cladding all around it.
Mahindra XUV BE.05 Features
At the same time, the XUV BE.05 is going to be 4,370mm in length, 1,900mm in width, and 1,635mm in height. It will be brought as a premium mid-size SUV. The cabin of the XUV BE.05 concept SUV has been showcased. It gets a large connected display screen unit for both infotainment and drive statistics, a digital speed display on the steering wheel, a plush fabric-LED dashboard, and a curved center console.
When will it be launched?
In fact, out of the company’s upcoming 5 electric SUV cars, two models will be of the XUV.e range, while three cars will be of the XUV BE range. All these models will be based on the completely new INGLO platform. The company has already revealed that the production version of the Mahindra XUV.e range will start after December 2024. The Mahindra BE range will be launched around October 2025.
