Rushlane has released the type approval images for Bajaj’s new Chetak electric scooter. Information has been revealed from this document released that the updated model coming this year will get 18 km more range than the current Chetak Electric. The Bajaj Chetak e-scooter currently in the market can be run up to 90 km on a single charge. That is, the upcoming e-scooter will get a range of 108 km. However, its battery pack and electric motor capacity will remain the same as before.

The leaked document lists the e-scooter with the Bajaj Chetak 2413 Premium codename. Looking at the information given in this, this model will be equipped with a 50.4 V 57.24 Ah battery pack like the current model. Apart from this, the weight of its battery will be 24.5 kg. At the same time, its maximum full charge range will be 108 km.

Not only this, but the dimensions of the new Bajaj Chetak will also be similar to the current model. At the same time, there is a slight change in the design as well. Features like a metallic body, IP67-rated battery, tubeless tires, 18L boot space, and a 4L glove box can be seen in the new model. However, we are expecting Bajaj’s upcoming electric scooter to see some major software changes.

Significantly, the 2023 Bajaj Chetak will be equipped with electric scooters like the already existing Ather 450 series, Ola S1 series, and Hero Vida in the market, which are equipped with long-range and many great features.
