Comparison of Maruti Suzuki Franks and Mahindra XUV 300. Know who is better

Maruti Suzuki Fronx vs Mahindra XUV 300: The country’s leading carmaker Maruti Suzuki introduced its compact SUV Fronx at the 2023 Auto Expo. Along with this, booking was also started for this. For this customers will have to deposit a booking amount of Rs 11,000. The launch of this car is expected in April. Today we are going to tell you the comparison of the Maruti Franks with the Mahindra XUV 300.

Dimension comparison

Maruti Suzuki Franks measures 3995 mm in length, 1765 mm in width, and 1550 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2520 mm. The boot space of the Franks is 308 liters and the turning radius is 4.9 meters.

The Mahindra XUV 300 measures 3995 mm in length, 1821 mm in width, 1617 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2600 mm. The XUV 300 has a boot space of 257 liters and a turning radius of 5.3 meters.

Exterior Comparison 

Externally, the Maruti Suzuki Franchise gets LED headlamps with LED DRLs, while the XUV300 gets the halogen headlamp setup with LED DRLs. Both these cars get LED tail lamp setup with rear wiper and washer. The XUV300 gets 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, while the front fascia gets 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. The XUV 300 also gets disc brakes at the rear wheel.

Features Comparison 

The interior of both these SUVs has been given a dual-tone scheme. Talking about the features of Fronx, it will get automatic LED headlamps with DRLs, a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with connected car tech, Apple Car Play/Android support, HUD display, Arkamys tuned sound system, cruise control, height adjustable driver seat. Features like automatic AC, rear AC vents, auto-dimming IRVM, 360-degree camera, 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, ESP with a hill-hold assist, and wireless charging are available.

Mahindra XUV300 features automatic headlamps and wipers, a 7.0-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, auto-dimming IRVM, cruise control, height-adjustable driver seat with seat belts, height-adjustable driver seat, ABS with EBD Features like dual-zone climate AC, front parking sensors, tire pressure monitoring system, rear armrest, sunroof, steering modes, 7 airbags, ESP, traction control and rear disc brakes have been given.

Powertrain Comparison

The Maruti Suzuki Fronx will be offered two engine options, including a 1.2-liter NA 4-cylinder petrol engine and a 1.0-liter, 3-cylinder turbocharged Boosterjet petrol engine. These engines generate outputs of 89 bhp and 113 Nm and 100 bhp and 148 Nm respectively and get a choice of 5-speed manual, AMT, and 6-speed automatic transmission.

On the other hand, the XUV 300 gets a choice of 3 engines, which include a 1.5-liter diesel, a 1.2-liter, 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, and a 1.2-liter turbo petrol engine. Which give outputs of 115 Bhp/300 Nm, 108 Bhp/200 Nm, and 128 Bhp/230 Nm respectively.
