Mercedes-Benz has announced an increase in the prices of its entire range of models. It is expected that the German luxury car manufacturer will increase the price ex-showroom of its vehicles and SUVs up to 5 percent starting April 1st, 2023. In such a scenario starting on April 1, the prices at the time of the showroom for Mercedes in India will rise by as much as 12 lakh rupees. As per the firm, the primary reason for the increased prices is the rapid increase in foreign exchange over the past four months as well as the rising cost of inputs.
Its entry-level Mercedes A-Class Limousine and GLA SUV
will have a price increase of 2 lakhs. The highest-end S350d Limousine will have an increase of Rs 7 lakh. And the most expensive Mercedes-Maybach S 580 sedan price will increase by 12 lakhs. Let us give you the list of pricing effective as of the 1st of April.

In response to this price hike Santosh Iyer,
Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer for Mercedes-Benz India said, “The constant weakening of the currency. The rising cost of inputs has led to increased operating expenses which has led to price adjustments. It is necessary.” In simple terms, the cost of making the cars of the company has increased as a result of the decline in the Indian rupee. Consequently, the costs of running the business have increased and, due to these factors, the price of the vehicles has to be raised.
