Mercedes car launch in 2023: The year 2022 has been great for Germany’s luxury car manufacturer Mercedes-Benz. The company has fiercely sold its luxury cars. The company has made a big announcement to maintain this pace in the year 2023. Mercedes-Benz said the company will introduce 10 new vehicles in the Indian market this year and most of them will be priced above Rs 1 crore. The company also started launching the ‘AMG E53 4Matic+ Cabriolet’ model on Friday. The cost of this car is Rs 1.3 crore.
Mercedes claims that last year top end cars (expensive above 1 crore) were sold so well that Mercedes has registered a growth of more than 69 percent in this segment. Mercedes-Benz India will sell over 3,500 cars in 2022 worth over Rs 1 crore. During this, the company sold a record 15,822 units. The company sold 11,242 units in 2021. Its previous best sales in 2018 were 15,583 units.
Santosh Iyer, managing director, and CEO, of Mercedes-Benz India, said, “Last year we saw the highest ever growth of 69 percent in the top-end car segment.” The company’s top-end vehicles include the S-Class Maybach, GLS Maybach, the top-end AMG, S-Class, and the GLS SUV. The showroom price of these vehicles is more than Rs 1 crore.
Stepped towards green electricityÂ
He said, ‘We will introduce 10 new cars in 2023. Most of these will be in the top-end segment. The company expects double-digit sales growth in 2023. Our network will run on clean energy and by 2025 the entire network will be green.
