The dashing Indian batsman Virat Kohli scored an unbeaten century in the Test format. Following 1205 days, he created havoc with his bat in Ahmedabad. For the 4th and final Test game in the match against Australia at Ahmedabad, Virat Kohli scored 186 runs, while also making his 28th century in Test cricket.
As we watch the dazzling batsman of Team India,
Virat Kohli, his greatest opponent has now become his largest admirer. Australia wicketkeeper Alex Carey says Virat Kohli is not one to miss the chance to make the “big hundred” on a great pitch to bat on and he proved he could achieve it during the 4th Test.
Virat Kohli scored 186 runs in 571Â
in the first series for his Indian team. In order to draw the last Test in the Border-Gavaskar series Australia must bat with aplomb for two session on Monday.
Alex Carey said after the fourth day’s game,
‘It was no surprise to watch Virat Kohli’s performance. Virat Kohli got a nice wicket to bat on and scored an impressive score. He showed us the way to perform in these conditions. He didn’t even give us an opportunity to break.
Alex Carey said, ‘We were aware that bowling
to Virat was not going to be an easy task. We wanted to prevent Virat from scoring in the maximum amount possible. But, in a wacky manner, Carey admitted that Australia’s chances of winning this game were essentially zero.
Alex Carey said, ‘Definitely it (getting an outcome) will be a major task, so we’ll focus heavily on the first half hour of the day and look to see if it’s an option.’
