The iPhone maker is shifting mass production performance plans of the cheaper iPhone 15 models to May and asking Samsung to make them. This program is a month ahead of the initial June 2023 production timeframe. Apple is likely relocating manufacturing to give Samsung time to focus on mass manufacture of the high-end display panels that will be included on the 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max/Ultra versions.
