This year will have a total of four eclipses, including three solar eclipses and one lunar eclipse. The other three solar eclipses won’t have any particular impact on India. Only the lunar eclipse that will occur on the night of October 28 will be seen from India. Purushottam month falls in Sawan month this year. The month of Sawan will therefore last for two months. This year, holidays like Dussehra, Diwali, Kartik Purnima, and Holi that fall after Sawan will arrive one month later. The Shraddha Paksha will retreat for a month along with the Kanwar Yatra in the Sawan Paksha of Shuddha Shravan.
The first solar eclipse will occur on April 20 of this month,
and viewers in several nations will be able to see the Khagras shape. The third solar eclipse will be seen on the following 8th of April after the second solar eclipse on October 14th. The shape of the Kankan, or ring, will be produced by the solar eclipse on October 14. The Khandgras lunar eclipse, which will take place at midnight on October 28, will be seen throughout India, according to Pandit Santosh Nagar, a Jyotishacharya of Martand Panchang. There will be 60 days in the month of Sawan. The dates of Shuddha Krishna Paksha are July 4 to July 17. The month of Purushottam will run from July 28 to August 16. From August, Sawan Shuddha Shukla Paksha will begin.

Sharadiya Navratri from October 15 to November 27 (Rakshabandhan), Pitru Paksha on September 29, Vijayadashami on October 24, Sharad Purnima on October 28, Karwachauth on November 1, Diwali on November 12, Devotthan Ekadashi on November 23, and Kartik Purnima on November 27. The dates of the upcoming Holi are March 24 and 25.
Devotees spend the entire month of
Purushottam or Adhikamas at pilgrimages where they engage in acts of generosity and attend discourses. The fact that Somvati Amavasya also falls in the month of Sawan makes it unique. There will be a tonne of people at the Sawan fair as a whole. The festivals will take place with the addition of one month.
