There has been a significant upgrade for the SSC CGL 2022 exam. Actually, there have been some adjustments made by the Staff Selection Commission to the positions advertised under SSC CGL. In the final list, how many posts are there for each category?
A total of 36,001 positions will now be filled through the SSC CGL recruitment exam in various Central Government ministries, according to the updated SSC CGL 2022 list.
The general category has 15,408 posts.
The SC category has 5,571 posts overall.
The ST category has 2,888 postings.
The OBC category has 8,336 posts overall.
The EWS category has 3,798 reserved jobs.
According to the information, since there were so many earlier openings in SSC CGL,
the list of openings published on April 27, 2023, has undergone revisions. There are now fewer open positions overall than there were previously. Let us remind you that a total of 36012 openings were already announced for the General, AC, ST, OBC, and EWS categories. 2,940 of those positions were for ESM, 451 for OH, 424 for HH, 277 for VH, and 263 for other PWD openings.

The SSC CGL 2022 Tier 1 test was administered by the Staff Selection Commission from December 1 to December 12, 2022. On the other hand, the SSC CGL 2022 Tier 2 exam was held from March 2 to March 7. On February 2, 2023, the results of the Tier 1 exam were made public. While Tier 2 results should be made public soon.
