Yes, two special trains are being launched by Railways for the comfort of pilgrims in mind who are traveling to Vaishno Devi by rail. The Railways occasionally make changes for the benefit of the passengers. In this order, Northern Railway has chosen to operate two special trains (New Delhi-Katra Special Train) from Delhi to Katra in consideration of the issues being experienced by the passengers on the railway.
It will be comfortable to go from Delhi to Katra.
Passengers can now travel from Delhi to Katra in comfort thanks to the Railways’ decision. Let us inform you that numerous trains run frequently between Delhi and Katra. But these trains have lengthy waits because of the large number of passengers. Passengers will be able to get comfortable seats and participate in darshan thanks to the operation of new special trains. It has been agreed to run special express trains overnight in order to accommodate the growing number of passengers. Know the train’s schedule and route.
From New Delhi to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra station,
two trains will run. These two trains will travel back to Delhi from Katra. These trains have the numbers 04071/04072 and 04077/04078 respectively. There will be sleepers and ordinary carriages on the trains.
The 04071 and 04072 trains
Sonepat, Panipat, Karnal, Kurukshetra, Ambala Cantt, Ludhiana, Jalandhar Cantt, Pathankot Cantt, Jammu Tawi, and Udhampur stations would all receive stops for the New Delhi – Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra train. At 11.15 p.m., train number 04071 will depart from New Delhi and arrive at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra at 11.25 a.m. The train began running on May 19th at night. Train 04072 will depart Katra in the opposite direction at 6.30 p.m. and arrive in New Delhi at 6.50 a.m.
The 04077 and 04078 trains
At 11.15 p.m., Train Nos. 04077 and 04078 will depart New Delhi for Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra. This train will arrive in Katra at 11.25 am after traveling for almost 12 hours. The train will run on May 20. In a similar manner, train number 04078 will depart Katra in the opposite direction on May 21 at 6.10 p.m. and arrive in Delhi at 6.50 a.m. the following day.
