You’ll spend two years in prison if you drive a car-bike after drinking

Car & bike driving while intoxicated is risky, and you run the risk of getting into an accident. Drinking and driving should therefore be avoided. Regarding this, there are severe regulations. However, a lot of people continue to disregard this and drive after drinking, which is against the law. If you are proven to be driving while intoxicated, you could face a two-year prison sentence.

is such a serious offense that a two-year sentence is warranted. In reality, drinking and driving your car & bike puts not only your life in danger but also the lives of those who are strolling along the road, and endangering someone’s life is no little matter.

If you are caught drinking and driving a car for the first time.

There is a provision for a challan of Rs 10,000 and/or 6 months in jail. However, if you are arrested for drinking and driving a second time, both the fine and the jail sentence will go up. There is a provision for a challan of Rs 15,000 and/or a prison sentence of up to 2 years if caught drinking and driving twice. The police have the legal authority to record the case, even though they typically merely cut the challan, don’t file the case, and take the offender to jail.
