Maruti Suzuki, Mahindra & Mahindra, Tata Motors, and Toyota Kirloskar, four of the largest automakers in the nation, have hailed the India-NCAP as a positive move for the indigenous industry.
Vehicle producers welcomed this and claimed
it will drive the nation to produce safer automobiles. According to Velusamy R, President (Vehicle Technology & Product Development), Mahindra & Mahindra, this is one of the Ministry of Road Transport’s concrete actions. The deployment of India-NCAP is appreciated.
