The company’s cheapest vehicle is the Tata Tiago. In the market, it faces off against the Maruti Swift. Tata Tiago is ranked number 17 in the list of best-selling automobiles, much behind Swift, which was the second-best-selling vehicle in June 2023. But as of June 2023, Tiago has surpassed Swift in terms of the annual growth rate of sales.
In the most recent month,
In June 2023, a total of 15,955 Maruti Swift cars were sold, which is around 2% fewer than the 16,213 units sold in June 2022. On the other hand, the Tata Tiago has sold 8,135 units, which is a 53% increase over its 5,310 unit sales in June 2023.
It is evident from this that Tata Tiago
has outperformed Maruti Suzuki Swift in terms of annual sales growth rate while Maruti Suzuki Swift has clearly outperformed it in terms of volume. When compared to Tiago, Swift’s sales have climbed by 53% annually while Swift’s sales have dropped by roughly 2% annually.
The pricing of the Tata Tiago is
between Rs. 5.60 lakh and Rs. 8.11 lakh (ex-showroom). It has 242 liters of boot space. It has a 1.2-liter petrol engine with 86 PS and 113 Nm of torque and a 5-speed manual or 5-speed AMT gearbox option. This engine also has a CNG variant, but the CNG version only includes a 5-speed MT gearbox.
