Recent data indicates that sales of passenger cars have increased. In 2023, more than 40 lakh passenger cars will be sold. However, this has also been accompanied by a noted rise in car prices. Automobile manufacturers claim that raising prices is necessary since the cost of producing cars is rising. Tata Motors has now additionally declared that starting on February 1, 2024, the prices of its whole range would increase. Up to 0.7% more will be charged for Tata automobiles. Input costs are the cause of the price increase.
