In India, the sales of SUV have steadily increased during the past few years. There are numerous causes for this expansion. One factor is that SUV are larger and higher than other types of vehicles. They are less likely to roll under since they have more ground clearance. In the last month of June (2023), the Hyundai Creta outsold all other SUVs like the Nexon and Brezza Punch in terms of sales.

Tata Nexon (13,827 units), Hyundai Venue (11,606 units), Tata Punch (10,990 units), and Maruti Brezza (10,578 units) came in second and third, respectively. That is, just two models from Tata Motors and two models from Hyundai were among the top 5 SUVs. Maruti’s Brezza finished at position five.

Hyundai Creta prices (ex-showroom) range from Rs. 10.87 lakh to Rs. 19.20 lakh. This vehicle has five seats. It has the choice of a 1.5-liter diesel engine with 116 PS and 250 Nm, or a 1.5-liter normally aspirated petrol engine with 115 PS and 144 Nm. It has the choice of a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed automatic, or an Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT).

hill-start assist control, all-wheel disc brakes, ISOFIX child seat anchors, tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and rear parking sensors are all included for passenger safety. ABS and a camera are both compatible with features like EBD.
