BSSC Office Attendant Recruitment 2025: Announcement of bumper recruitment for office attendant posts in Bihar, 10th pass can apply

Recruitment for 3727 Office Attendant positions has been released by the Bihar Staff Selection Commission. All applicants who have completed their tenth grade are welcome to apply for this position. Online applications for this position will be accepted from August 25 until September 24, 2025.

A recruitment notice for the positions of Office Attendant and Parichari (Special) has been released by the Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC). The letter states that the application procedure for this position will open on August 25 and run through September 24, 2025. During the designated dates, candidates who are eligible for this recruitment and seeking a government job can complete the online application by going to the official website, bssc.bihar.gov.in.

Only those who have passed the tenth grade can be hired.

Candidates must have completed their 10th grade or matriculation, or its equivalent, from an accredited board or institution in order to apply for the position of office attendant. In addition, candidates must be at least eighteen years old. The age group-specific maximum age is as follows:

  • (Male) Unreserved: 37 Years
  • 40 Years of Backward and Extremely Backward Classes (Female and Male)
  • 40-year-old unreserved female
  • ST, SC: 42 Years
  • Candidates with disabilities in all categories: 10 years above the category-specific maximum age

Fees and the application process

All applicants must complete the form online in order to be considered for this recruitment. Applications submitted in any other way won’t be considered. Unreserved and OBC candidates from outside the state of Bihar must submit their applications and pay a fee of Rs 540. The cost has been set at Rs 135 for female candidates in all categories, SC, ST, and Divyang applicants.

How will the selecting process be carried out?

Candidates must take the exam in order to be chosen for this recruitment. The written test will include objective-style questions. One hundred questions will be asked. For every right response, four marks will be given, and for every incorrect response, one mark will be subtracted. The questions on the test will come from the general knowledge, general mathematics, and general Hindi courses.

Candidates from the unreserved category must receive 40% of the possible points in order to pass the exam; candidates from the backward class must receive 36.5%; candidates from the severely backward class must receive 34%; and candidates from the SC, ST, Divyang, and women must receive 32%.
