At the announcement ceremony for the iPhone 15, Apple revealed the release date for iOS 17, announcing that the public can begin downloading it on September 18. The first beta of the new software version was released on July 12th, following the brand’s June WWDC Developer’s Conference unveiling.
Although iOS 17 doesn’t deliver a fundamental redesign.
There are several noticeable feature enhancements. First, there is a brand-new software called Journal that enables you to practice thankfulness through journaling. Apple’s voice assistant may be activated simply by saying “Siri” rather than “Hey Siri,” FaceTime also supports sending audio and video chats.
Compatible iPhones with iOS 17
Before the iPhone XR/XS, all iPhones will not be compatible with iOS 17 because it is only available for devices with the A12 Bionic chipset.

iOS 17 offers
FaceTime: Audio and video messages are now supported in FaceTime on iOS 17. These may be distributed to contacts.
Phone app: iOS 17 finally gives the Phone app a makeover. Users can upload a picture of the contact using the brand-new “Poster” feature. When you call your receiver, this will appear on their iPhone. If you don’t answer the phone, you may also add live voicemail, which will give you a live transcription of the caller’s message.
iMessage: There is a voice message transaction and a new catch-up icon to jump to the most recent messages. For focused results, the messaging app now has a new search filter. A new Check-In feature allows users to share their current location and status.
Stickers: With iOS 17, you may add any emoji or photo cutout as a “Sticker” on your device. Additionally, users may apply effects, make Live Photos into animated stickers, and utilize them in conversation.
