The new RS 457 has been introduced by Aprilia in India. The Italian brand will now be back in the Indian motorbike market as a result of this. This sporting bike recently made its international debut. It is now available on the Indian market. It will be produced at the Maharashtra-based Baramati facility of Piaggio India.
Design
Its styling features include a fully faired body, a tri-LED headlamp cluster, an aluminum triple clamp, a low-set clip on the handlebar, air vents on the side panels for better aerodynamics, a raised Includes HUA tail section, a split seat, and an underbelly exhaust. These features are shared with the larger RS 660.
Features
A variety of electronics are included in the Aprilia RS 457, including a 5-inch TFT screen, 3 switchable levels of traction control, backlit switchgear, ride-by-wire, all-LED illumination, Bluetooth connectivity, switchable rear ABS, and a quick-shifter option.
Hardware
It has a rear mono-shock with 120 mm of travel and a front fork with 41 mm USD with 130 mm of travel. A 320 mm front disc with a four-piston Bybre radial-mounted caliper and a 220 mm rear disc with a single-piston floating caliper is used for braking. Dual-channel ABS is present. The bike has 17-inch alloy wheels for rolling. Its front tyres are 110/70 and its rear tyres are 150/60.
Engine
A 457 cc liquid-cooled, twin-cylinder, four-valve engine with a 270-degree crankshaft powers the Aprilia RS 457 and produces 47 horsepower. A 6-speed gearbox is mated with this engine. The business hasn’t yet made its torque output public, though. The motorcycle weighs 175 kilograms.
