1st December 2023 – There will be a bank holiday in Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland due to the State Inauguration Day.
3 December 2023- Banks will remain closed due to the first Sunday of the month.
4 December 2023- Banks will remain closed in Goa due to the St. Francis Xavier Festival.
9 December 2023- Second Saturday of the month and will be a bank holiday.
10 December 2023- There will be a bank holiday due to Sunday.
12 December 2023- There will be a bank holiday in Meghalaya due to Pa-Togan Nengminja Sangma.
13 December 2023- There will be a bank holiday in Sikkim due to Losung/Namsung.
14 December 2023- There will be a holiday for banks in Sikkim due to Losung/Namsung.
17 December 2023- Banks will remain closed across the country due to Sunday.
18 December 2023- There will be a bank holiday in Meghalaya due to the death anniversary of U Soso Tham.
19 December 2023- There will be a holiday for banks in Goa due to Liberation Day.
23 December 2023: Fourth Saturday of the month, banks will remain closed across the country.
24 December 2023: Bank holiday across the country due to Sunday.
25 December 2023: There will be a holiday for banks across the country due to Christmas.
26 December 2023: Due to Christmas celebrations, banks will not open in Mizoram, Nagaland and Meghalaya.
27 December 2023: Bank holiday in Nagaland due to Christmas.
30 December 2023: Banks will not open in Meghalaya in view of U Kiang Nangbah.
31 December 2023: There will be a bank holiday due to Sunday.
The yearly schedule of bank holidays
for the entire year is released by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). Digital banking services like Internet, mobile, and UPI banking are unaffected by these holidays. In India, bank holidays usually comprise mandated time off granted by the banking industry along with additional holidays declared by individual states for festivals and noteworthy events.
